Sanbis Resort: An Island Paradise
Sanbis Resort is an eco-resort, on a semi-private island 7 minutes away from Gizo airport by boat. Offering just 6 bungalows, each with private beaches, this resort is the closest you will come to being marooned on a luxury desert island. Sanbis is an exclusive resort which caters for only 12 people at a time and is adult only to maintain the serene environment (no children under 12).
Sanbis Resort Accommodation
This is no ordinary Solomon Islands hotel. At Sanbis the owner and local staff are conscious of preserving the unspoiled environment on the islands and so they serve fresh local food that is currently in season, they have solar powered lights and have a re-forestation program. Being an eco-resort doesn't mean they skip on facilities, each of the six villas comes with an ensuite bathroom, hot water, and ceiling fans. Romantic jungle walks, sundowners around the fire and a well-stocked beach bar make Sanbis one of the best resorts in the Solomon Islands.
What to Expect from your Solomon Islands Holiday at Sanbis

What could be more luxurious than walking out onto your private verandah each morning and looking over your private beach out onto the bright blue waters of the Pacific? The well cared for reef just off the beach is teaming with sea life, the white sandy beaches are pristine, and the Sanbis resort is rumored to serve the best pizza in the Solomon Islands, fresh from their pizza oven!
